Summary of Position: Applications engineer for the High Speed Memory group

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide technical support to customers during design in – tasks can include working with customers to debug board, get simulations/models working etc.
• Help solve system level customer issues
• Coordinate with QA and FA teams to provide customer responses to RMAs and FARs
• Provide answers to technical questions
• Write technical documents such as application notes and data sheets
• Help train Sales and customers

Required knowldedge, skills and abilities:

This candidate requires a minimum of a B.S. in engineering, a deep technical understanding of memories (both SRAM and DRAM), a good understanding of communications products such as router, switches, base stations etc, and strong communications skills

Required education and experience:
• Minimum BSEE or equivalent
